Iguacu - Brasil / Argentina / Paraguay

Getting to Iguacu was a little harder than expected. We took a bus in Florianopolis and were lucky about the price. The bus itself and the seats were "executivo", meaning, that its the lowest comfort class existing. And now we know why. There was just a bit of distance between the seats. After three hours of bus drive, the bus broke down. It took another two hours to get another bus, which took us finally to Iguacu. All in all we spent 19 hours on the bus.
In ]Iguacu we checked in to our hostel, a very good one but cheap. We have a pool! And we use it!
The nature and vegetation is wonderfull.
Yesterday we went to the argentinian side of the waterfalls. The delta of the Rio Iguacu is really extended...

There are therefore a lot of waterfalls, and approaching each of them gave possibility to be refreshed!!

The biggest waterfall is named the Garganta del Diablo and is really impressive.

After the visit we went to the center of Foz the Iguacu to buy our next bus ticket and had diner in a local restaurant "Tropicana" recommended by our bus driver having Churrasco. The restaurant does not have a menu but "Rodizio", so that you get different grilled meat and eat all you can.

After a relaxed day, enjoying the pool :-), Emeric visited the Itaipu barrage. This huge binacional (Brasil-Paragay) barrage enables the electricity production of: 100% of the paraguayan and 75% of the brasilian need.

Cheers!!
