we didn't (or couldn't) write during the last week. So here is the report for our three-days-stay in Montevideo.
We arrived after a trip with a ferry crossing Rio de la Plata to Uruguay and another bus trip in our hostel in Montevideo. Afterwards we just went out for dinner in a really good restaurant.
Next day we explored the city a bit and had a look for some souvenirs, but finally we didn't buy anything. Uruguay seems to be expensive, but has a high standard compared to the rest of southamerica.
On our way back we took a look at the coastside of Montevideo.
Montevideo is a really nice city, but we had about 30 degrees, and walking around during "our winter time" with 30 degrees feels a bit strange - but nice! Sometimes we think of you guys and all the snow...
On our last day in Montevideo we had lunch in a small restaurant at the mercado del puerto. There we got a bit of meat, just as you can see on the pic...:-)
It was really good, but the best meat until here was in El Calafate... we'll go on testing:-)
Bye
I'm getting hungry.....yummy!
