As the busses to Ushuaia don't have a daily schedule, we needed to wait two nights (until Wednesday) to get our bus.
It took 11 hours to get to the END OF THE WORLD, as Ushuaia is usually called, crossing Patagonia by bus, the Magellan straight by ferry...
...and afterwards crossing Tierra del Fuego (Fireland). We reached the most southern point of this journey, probably the most southern point of all the journeys of our lives, at 8pm and went to our hostal.
After having a good steak, we went to bed, wanting to go to a national park the following day (thursday the 7th) and to take our flight to Buenos Aires friday the 8th. But we both did not feel well when we got up that day, so we decided to skip the park. Emeric went back to bed, Maik went online, checking some Mails. Well, he found suddenly an email from our flight agency, saying that our flight was postponed to thursday the 7th, 14:38h.
Well, we got our flight. But we were damn close to missing it. The problem is, when you are travelling for 8 weeks already, you loose the time. so we thought, we had another day we could spend at the end of the world.
We will post some fotos later on, today we will explore Buenos Aires.
Cheers
Emeric & Maik
